Eco-Green Builders is the first
exclusively "green builder" of residences and small commercial structures in the North Olympic Peninsula and surrounding area.
All houses are sustainable construction, which conserves the precious resources of the North Olympic Peninsula. This is accomplished through energy efficiency and the use of sustainable and recycled/recyclable construction materials. Any dimensional lumber used is FSC material provided by a certified provider.
Other specialized features or techniques are also used, such as storm-water management with rain gardens and pervious concrete.
"Green-built" homes are cost effective, easier to maintain,
stronger than "old technology", and
healthier for the home-owner, generally providing a virtually mold-free environment. In these days of high energy costs and increasing sensitivity to reduced air quality, "new technology" building techniques are used to provide a healthier, more comfortable, and sustainable product for you.
These products generally have a substantially reduced maintenance requirement and maximize the return to the homeowner.
The company has purchased three lots in the wooded subdivision, known as Park Meadows, and the first house is currently 75% complete!
